Music is a key part of church life at St Stephen’s, both in worship and beyond. The Director of Music, Matthew Blaiden, leads a thriving and developing musical culture at St Stephen's. At its centre is singing by the voluntary Parish Choir made up of regular and more occasional members, and by the congregation; it extends to include a variety of recitals, concerts, and liturgical musical meditations; and it involves and is supported by a number of Associate Musicians, both soloists and ensembles.
