For the safety of everyone who works at the church, our parishioners and other visitors we have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and have cleaning, handwashing and hygiene procedures in place in line with guidance.
So, what can you expect?
Foot pump operated hand-sanitisers are available. We also request that you use a face mask, if you do not have one, we have a small supply.
We will take your contact details at the door as part of the Government Test and Trace Initiative (details will be kept for 21 days then destroyed).
Where orders of service are used, they will be available on our website for you to print at home or bring with you on your smartphone.
We are maintaining a strict 2m distance for all our congregation.
Some pews are blocked and we ask each family bubble to occupy a separate pew. If the person/ family in front of you is seated on the lefthand side we request that you sit on the righthand side of the pew behind and vice versa to maximise the space between congregants.
During the service movement will be restricted. The wafer alone will be offered during the Communion and we will be able to join in singing together only in our hearts.
Please also note that for the time being our toilets will not be in operation for visitors.
Our vergers or other volunteers will be at hand to assist you as we all get used to this new way of doing things and our procedures will continue to adapt in accordance with Government Guidance and best practice to keep you safe. You can download or read through our risk assessment via the button below.
Whether in person or via the internet, we look forward to welcoming you.
