Baptism marks the beginning of a journey with God which continues for the rest of our lives, the first step in response to God’s love.
Revd Graham Buckle warmly welcomes enquiries about baptism. Baptisms for children and adults are celebrated on Sunday mornings as part of the 10am Parish Eucharist. They begin with an informal conversation about what baptism means for the life of the candidate and their family. The best way to proceed with an enquiry about baptism is to attend a 10am service and speak with the Vicar.
Confirmation at St Stephen’s
God has called you by name and made you his own. Confirm O Lord, your servant with your Holy Spirit.
At Eastertide and sometimes at other times of the year there is the opportunity to get confirmed. This follows confirmation classes with a member of the clergy to deepen our journey with God. The best way to proceed with an enquiry about confirmation is to attend a 10am service and speak with the Vicar. Alternatively, send an email to the Parish Administrator
