Journeying Together Through Lent

This year, we are offering several opportunities to walk this season together:

Steps in Prayer: Sharing Sights and Sounds

In partnership with Holy Trinity, New York, we’ll exchange weekly videos to discover one another’s parishes and neighbourhoods through prayerful eyes. A simple reminder that we are part of a worldwide Church. Keep an eye out on our Facebook and Instagram where the videos will be posted!
A Heart For Mission

Our Lent Course will take place after the Parish Eucharist (11am to 12pm) starting on the First Sunday (22nd February) and ending on the Fifth Sunday (22nd March) of Lent.

The course, put together by USPG, will focus on the 'Five Marks of Mission', with specific reference to how faith is put into action in the Anglican Province of Myanmar. This is of particular significance for us at St Stephen's, as our Parish has a link with the Diocese of Toungoo in that Province. Carol Miller from USPG, our preacher on 22nd February, will introduce the course.

Since the 'Five Marks of Mission' have been developed by the Anglican Communion as an important framework for church activity, we hope that you can join us for this exciting opportunity to learn more.
