Thank You for Celebrating 175 Years of St Stephen’s

As our St Stephen’s week celebrations marking 175 years since the consecration of our church draws to a close, we want to offer our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made it so special.

To those who spoke, sang, played, performed, and participated in any way--thank you. Your contributions filled our church with joy, beauty, and meaning. It was a powerful reminder of the richness of our community and the enduring spirit that binds us together.

We are deeply proud of our legacy, not only as a place of worship but as a community rooted in service and compassion. St Stephen’s was built through the vision and generosity of Angela Burdett-Coutts, whose lifelong commitment to improving the lives of those around her continues to inspire us today. Her belief that the church could be a force for good in the heart of the city lives on in everything we do.  We look forward to the coming year as we continue to celebrate this legacy.  Look out on our website for future events and services.

Thank you for being part of this extraordinary moment in our story. Here’s to the next 175 years—grounded in faith, growing in hope, and flourishing in love.
